We are pleased to announce that our skills academy will be led by former All-Arizona Prep standout Royce Woolridge, legendary Chicago trainer Keith Carter and former professionals Babacar Camara and Maurice Levell Riddick.
Royce Woolridge was one of the top players to come out of Arizona in his prep days. He had a storied prep, college and pro career. A product of the legendary Arizona Magic club program and Sunnyslope HS, Woolridge played at Kansas and Washington State, before finishing his college career at Grand Canyon University. After his collegiate days, he had a successful professional career playing overseas
Keith Carter is one of Arizona’s best kept secrets. Carter is phenomenal in developing guards, as he has developed multiple mid-major and high-major D-1 talents. Some of his top players include nephew Jevon Carter (Brooklyn Nets) and his son Keith Carter (Valparaiso). Coach Carter has served as an assistant coach with most recently Sequoia Pathway Academy and was instrumental in developing the guards in his (3) years there.
Babacar Camara is a former professional who spent (10) years playing overseas. He had a storied collegiate career at Cal State Fullerton, before turning professional. He has been a fantastic coach, as he is able to develop guards, forwards, and centers. He served as an assistant coach at AZ Compass Prep, before coming over to launch Aim Higher Prep Academy.
Maurice Levell Riddick is a former Division-I and professional player. He had a solid career at Bethune Cookman University in Florida and played professionally for (13) years. He has worked as a personal trainer with the NBA Fit, JR. NBA, and NBA Nike America's programs. He also spent time coaching at AZ Compass Prep before coming over to launch Aim Higher Prep Academy.
We have assembled a super team of trainers with great basketball backgrounds and records of success in developing top-tier talent. There is no skills academy in the state with this much experience and talent offered at an affordable price. I urge families to take advantage of this tremendous opportunity to learn the game of basketball from some of the top skills trainers in the world.
