Boulder Creek High School had a good season this year, as the program finished with a 19-11 overall record amidst a very tough season schedule in the 6A Division. Boulder Creek would eventually fall in the 6A State Semi-finals, but 6-foot-5 versatile senior guard/forward Landon Brewer would emerge for me in the process, as one of top unsigned senior performers for college programs to take a serious look at this spring. The All-American Available Showcase took place this weekend on Saturday @ Chandler-Gilbert Community College. The All-American staff, led by former Division-I assistant coach Cody Hopkins as the camp organizer, hosted an event designed to create exposure for unsigned junior college prospects, as well as any unsigned seniors. The event was primarily filled with unsigned juco prospects, which made for some exciting basketball action on the day, as participants played in (3) games each – providing an excellent opportunity for prospects to be evaluated. One of the top overall performers and prospects in the ACCAC this past junior college season and for the future is Pima Junior College 5-foot-9 freshman guard Cohenj Gonzales.
