This weekend, the top unsigned prospect in Arizona's 2018 class, 6-foot-6 unsigned senior guard prospect Both Gach of AZ Compass Prep took an official recruiting visit to Loyola Marymount University, his first official recruiting visit to date.

Gach has seen his recruitment begin to soar as of late, and this weekend, his took his first visit, while many other schools are still looking to get involved. Gach has generated loads of interest from such schools as the University of Utah and the University of Oklahoma, Tennessee, South Carolina, Nebraska and Nevada, while he also holds offers currently from Southern Utah and North Dakota.

Both could be setting up more visits soon to other schools, although it is still unclear as to which schools he will look to visit.

Loyola Marymount University head coach Mike Dunlap and his staff have stepped up their recruitment of Gach, and, as a result, they received an offer from the talented guard prospect first.

Recently, Gach received a passing test score and looks to be an NCAA academic qualifier.

A native of Minnesota, Gach is as skilled a player as there is in the state of Arizona. Gach's true value on the basketball court cannot be determined, until you see him play in a true game, as he has a high skill level and plays with excellent poise on the court. He allows the game to come to him and plays with an unselfish spirit on the floor.

Gach still does not look to have a clear leader in his college recruitment, so it will be very interesting to see how his college recruitment continues to develop.

I will continue to follow his recruitment closely, and bring you updates as they continue to develop.

Arizona Hoop Review Scouting Report: Known as "Booth" by his teammates, Gach is a superb basketball talent with loads of athleticism and a tremendous offensive skillset, which allows him to be very productive at a high level on the basketball court. He also has excellent work ethic and loves the game, and also enjoys putting in the time to develop as a player. He possesses an excellent handle of the basketball and a pure shooting stroke, with unlimited range and an ability to create his own shot. He has a very soft shooting touch and an advanced feel for the game. He also has unique athleticism, which allows him to get out on the break and make plays in transition - finishing above the rim in a variety of ways. A very good ball handler that plays with poise. A very good passer that sees the floor very well and has a nice overall feel for the game - makes players around him better. Plays very unselfish. A good defender that plays both ends of the court. Plays passing lanes and is very athletic with a very good overall motor. An excellent sleeper prospect that could play at any level.
