Post Gach Narrows To 3 Schools, Nearing Decision
on: May 23, 2018, 00:43

The late signing period has come and gone and the state's top unsigned senior prospect, 6-foot-6 senior guard/wing Both Gach, is still undecided for his future college home. While Gach has yet to make his college decision, he has trimmed his recruiting list down to (3) schools, and will make his college decision any day now.

Recently, Gach made numerous phone calls to many different college programs, and advised them that he had trimmed his list - advising numerous college programs that he would not be attending their school. One of those college programs was Loyola Marymount University and head coach Mike Dunlap. Dunlap worked tirelessly for Gach, as much as any coach that I have ever seen work for a student-athlete. Dunlap was also very classy in his approach to the recruitment.

Gach has narrowed his list of schools now down to San Diego State, Texas Tech and Utah.

It has been a very quiet ride for Gach, who has not led on that he has any leaders in his college recruitment. Currently, Gach seems to have no clear leader in his college recruitment, and his final decision still seems to be unknown. It will be very interesting to see which direction he will go with his college decision.

A native of Minnesota, Gach is as skilled a player as there is in the state of Arizona. Gach's true value on the basketball court cannot be determined, until you see him play in a true game, as he has a high skill level and plays with excellent poise on the court. He allows the game to come to him and plays with an unselfish spirit on the floor. He is a natural floor general on the court, and plays the point guard position at 6-6.

Recently, Gach received a passing test score and looks to be an NCAA academic qualifier.

I will continue to follow his recruitment closely, and bring you updates as they continue to develop.

Arizona Hoop Review Scouting Report: Known as "Booth" by his teammates, Gach is a superb basketball talent with loads of athleticism and a tremendous offensive skillset, which allows him to be very productive at a high level on the basketball court. He also has excellent work ethic and loves the game, and also enjoys putting in the time to develop as a player. He possesses an excellent handle of the basketball and a pure shooting stroke, with unlimited range and an ability to create his own shot. He has a very soft shooting touch and an advanced feel for the game. He also has unique athleticism, which allows him to get out on the break and make plays in transition - finishing above the rim in a variety of ways. A very good ball handler that plays with poise. A very good passer that sees the floor very well and has a nice overall feel for the game - makes players around him better. Plays very unselfish. A good defender that plays both ends of the court. Plays passing lanes and is very athletic with a very good overall motor. An excellent sleeper prospect that could play at any level.
